Great Wolf Lodge in Kansas City is offering a Summer Hospitality Internship for a 10-week, on-site program. Interns will rotate through Guest Services, Housekeeping, Retail, Attractions, Entertainment, or Food & Beverage, performing full department duties and upholding safety standards.

You’ll receive hands-on training, mentorship, and a path to full-time opportunities within our hospitality brand. The program emphasizes teamwork, guest service excellence, and professional development.

Qualifications

  • Must have a High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be currently enrolled in an associate or bachelor’s degree program during internship.
  • Available to complete at least a 10-week program (End of May to Early August).
  • Experience utilizing basic math skills with ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Flexibility regarding scheduling based on business demands; including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must have unrestricted work authorization in the US.
  • No housing or relocation provided.
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

  • Enhance Guest Experience by greeting and engaging guests.
  • Respond promptly to guest inquiries and escalate issues to leadership.
  • Follow safety guidelines and asset protection protocols.
  • Perform duties as outlined for assigned department (Guest Services, Housekeeping, Retail, Attractions, Entertainment, or Food & Beverage).
  • Maintain clean, organized work areas meeting health and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with team members and participate in program projects.
