Overview

The Summer Hire Program at Cook Inc. and Cook Medical offers valuable experience across various areas, including production, office/clerical, and shipping/stock.

Responsibilities
  1. Complete job-related duties and tasks based on departmental needs.
  2. Interact effectively and professionally with colleagues across different levels of the organization.
  3. Strictly adhere to safety requirements.
  4. Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
  5. Uphold company quality and quantity standards.
  6. Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills.
  7. Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work both collaboratively and independently with minimal supervision.
  8. Remain calm and receptive in fast-paced situations.
Qualifications
  • Must be 18 years of age and provide proof of identity (driver’s license and Social Security card or passport).
  • Must be enrolled for the 2025 fall semester at an accredited college and provide proof of registration prior to the first day of employment (acceptance letter, bursar’s statement, course schedule, etc.).
  • Must have a relative currently employed at Cook.
  • Must be available to work for 10 weeks between May 11, 2020, and August 7, 2020.
