Job summary

Univera Healthcare is offering a 10-week paid Summer College Internship Program in Rochester, NY. Students participate in development workshops, are mentored by their managers, and contribute to meaningful projects across tracks such as Business Administration, IT, Public Health, Analytics, and more.

Interns gain hands-on experience in community health initiatives, data-informed decision making, and presentations at internship end.

Qualifications

• Desired majors include health professions, public health, nursing, health sciences, epidemiology, community health, biology, social sciences, psychology, sociology, social work, public policy, business, healthcare administration.
• Preferred experience with data analysis or public health awareness.
• Must have a high school diploma with demonstrated continuous college enrollment.

Responsibilities

• Support strategic initiatives to improve community health outcomes through data-informed decision making.
• Collaborate with staff across community health, program implementation, and evaluation teams.
• Assist in health equity projects and dissemination of education on health equity.
• Prepare and deliver presentations upon internship completion.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies.
