Job summary

Rainbow Energy Center, LLC is seeking temporary, summer helper personnel for Coal Creek Station in Iowa. The role encompasses custodial cleaning, grounds maintenance, and light building upkeep. You will assist with tours, cleaning walls, and minor repairs while supporting other groups as needed.

Eligibility includes being 18+, currently enrolled as a full-time student, and able to pass a physical and drug screening. A valid driver’s license is required for pickups/deliveries.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old and able to pass a physical exam and drug screening.
• Must be enrolled as a full-time student in post-secondary education or vocational program for fall term.
• Must meet minimum job requirements and be able to perform essential functions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial cleaning tasks: sweeping, mopping, washing windows and trash removal.
• Keep plant tour routes clean and assist with building maintenance repairs.
• Assist with grounds care: mowing, weed-eating, watering, and lawn tasks.
• Operate lawn sprinklers and clean equipment/vehicles as needed.
• Support other core groups and follow written/verbal instructions.
