Job summary

An environmental conservation organization in New Hampshire seeks summer forestry technicians for a temporary 12-week position. Responsibilities include locating and painting boundary lines, conducting post-harvest surveys, and engaging in stewardship activities. Applicants should have a valid driver's license, be physically fit, and navigate rough terrain. Hourly wages range from $19 to $20 based on experience. Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Ability to work alone and navigate to remote locations.
• Outdoor skills and ability to work in rugged terrain.

Responsibilities

• Locate, blaze and paint boundary lines.
• Perform post‑harvest surveys to record regeneration.
• Engage in everyday stewardship activities and management.

Skills

Ability to work long hours in rough conditions

Proficiency with hand tools

Ability to navigate remote locations

Experience in natural resources field data collection

Ability to identify common NH tree species

Ability to use chainsaw and other power tools

Familiarity with ESRI ArcGIS Pro software
