Job summary

Houlihan Lokey is seeking a Summer Financial Analyst for the Corporate Valuation Advisory Services team in Dallas, TX. You will develop complex financial models and analyze financial statements, market conditions, and deals, while gaining broad exposure to industries and senior staff.

You will participate in our marketing efforts and contribute to valuation work across mergers, acquisitions, and related advisory services.

Qualifications

• Coursework in accounting and finance.
• Fundamental understanding of valuation theory, methodologies, and applications.
• Strong analytical abilities and financial/computer skills (Excel in particular).

Responsibilities

• Develop complex financial models and analyze financial statements, industry conditions, and developments.
• Evaluate acquisitions and divestitures and various investment attributes of securities.
• Support firm marketing efforts and gain exposure to a range of industries and transactions.
