Job summary

Medpace in Cincinnati is seeking qualified full-time interns to support our Informatics team during Summer 2027. The internship offers hands-on experience in query-based programming, data interpretation, and visualization creation within a collaborative, international environment.

Interns will become proficient in R and SQL, work with PowerBI, Excel, Snowflake, and Shiny, and contribute to data queries, visuals, and proposal support.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor's, Master's or PhD in CS/Engineering, biomedical engineering, health information, statistics, bioinformatics, or related field.
• GPA 3.5+
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience programming with R, or other computer language
• Introductory Microsoft Excel skills

Responsibilities

• Customization of programming scripts for data management
• Creation of innovative visuals and analyses through individual projects
• Contribution to design and delivery of data visualizations
• Collation of data for proposal support requests
