Job summary

Boeckermann Grafstrom & Mayer (BGM) invites students to join its Summer Experience Program in June 2027. This one‑day program explores careers in audit, tax, and advisory while introducing you to BGM's culture, leadership, and opportunities to build your professional network.

Participants gain exposure to firm clients, job shadowing, and interactions with firm leadership, with a potential internship for Tax Seasons or Summer 2028.

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting with 150 credits.
  • Interested in 2028 or 2029 Tax Season Internship.

Job description

Join us on in June 2027 for our Summer Experience Program! BGM’s Summer Experience Program is a local leadership program designed for students who have not yet been through the internship recruiting process, have approximately two years remaining of their education, and will graduate with their CPA eligibility.

This 1 day program gives you the chance to explore your interests in a career in public accounting: audit, tax or advisory. The Summer Experience program not only gives you insight into the culture and career opportunities at BGM but will provide you with a forum to showcase your strengths and abilities through networking and team building activities.

You can also expect to gain exposure to firm clients while participating in a job shadowing experience, contact with firm leadership, access to developmental resources, and network with BGM professionals and other top candidates in your field. This program is intended to be informative and FUN!

Most importantly, you’ll receive answers to your questions about life at BGM as well as an interview for an internship position for Tax Seasons or Summer 2028.

To be eligible, students must:
  • Be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and working towards 150 credits
  • Be interested and eligible in a 2028 or 2029 Tax Season Internship
  • Be internally and academically motivated
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and abilities
  • Possess exemplary interpersonal skills
  • Be both customer service and team member oriented
Participants:

Approximately 10-15 students from regional colleges and universities will be selected for this program through our various campus recruitment initiatives each fall and spring semester. Program invitations will be extended to exemplary individuals who encompass our Core Values at the heart of everything they do, which include:
