Job summary

YES USA in Irvine, CA seeks an ESL Teacher and Activity Counselor for a summer program. The camp runs June 27–August 7, 2026 with 2-week contracts from July 25–August 7.

Responsibilities include teaching English to international teens, coordinating off-site and on-campus activities, and ensuring student safety and engagement. Requirements include a bachelor’s degree (prefer TESOL/linguistics/English), ESL certificate (CELTA or equivalent), and prior ESL experience with teens, plus US work

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (TESOL/linguistics/English preferred).
• ESL certificate such as CELTA or equivalent.
• Prior ESL experience with teenagers.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons according to YES USA curriculum.
• Lead off-site excursions and supervise students.
• Maintain attendance records and monitor student progress.
• Submit weekly evaluation reports and communicate with management.
• Ensure long hours during camp including weekends as needed.
