Job summary

Raymond James is seeking Equity Research summer interns to assist with company, industry, and market research, building financial models, and contributing to earnings notes and industry whitepapers.

Start date is June 2, 2027, with end date August 13, 2027. The program offers hybrid work locations including St. Petersburg, FL, and other offices as needed, with a path to full-time opportunities after graduation.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, data analytics or related field.
• Eligible candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• GPA of 3.5 or higher preferred; strong quantitative and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with company, industry, and market research projects to support investment recommendations.
• Analyze financial statements and metrics to understand publicly traded companies.
• Support development of financial models for forecasting, valuation, and research.
• Conduct research on market trends, industry developments, and economic events.
• Collaborate to prepare reports, presentations, and other research materials.
• Apply accounting, finance, and equity valuation concepts to evaluate opportunities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
