Cleveland-Cliffs in Middletown, OH invites engineering students for Fall 2026 internships/co-ops at our Research and Innovation facility. You will work within a department, supporting an engineering team with technical and hands-on tasks and gain exposure to steel manufacturing while building valuable industry experience.

Interns will collaborate with engineers and operators on real projects, develop practical skills, and may be considered for future full-time opportunities.

Qualificações

• Enrollment in a BS program in engineering fields including metallurgy, materials science, chemical, mechanical, or related technical degree.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct or lead research, analysis, and improvement projects aligned with department goals.
• Interacting with equipment operators, engineers, managers, and customers to understand applications.
• Learn one or more aspects of the steelmaking process under supervision.
• Collaborate closely with an engineer on all tasks.
• Work on and/or lead a variety of projects independently.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Bachelor of Science program in Engineering (Metallurgy, Materials Science, Chemical, Mechanical, or related)
