Job summary

Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) invites undergraduate students or recent grads to join the DTED for a summer internship. Qualifications

• Must be eligible to access the Laboratory in compliance with NDAA.
• Continuing college student in good academic standing pursuing a bachelor’s degree or associate degree, or recent grad in relevant technology fields.
• Ability to work full-time for 10-12 weeks during the summer.
• Strong academic record and teamwork orientation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• GPA 3.5 or above.
• Completion of Junior year at start of internship.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical assignments with mentorship in your field of study.
• Provide technical support to engineers and scientists on R&D projects.
• Participate in assigned research area under supervision.
• Use standard software packages to complete tasks.
• Gather and analyze data to support engineering research.
• Document and communicate results of technical data.
• Share technical information and promote open dialogue.
• Attend seminars and facility tours; interact with other students.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
