Genius AI in NYC is seeking motivated engineering interns for Summer 2027. You’ll work on live features with real production impact, collaborating with senior engineers, and reporting to an engineering manager.

This in-person role requires commuting to our Union Square office, with a 3–4 day in-office cadence and Tuesday/Thursday attendance. You will build features for our web and mobile products, architect automation, and refine your skills in AI-powered development while expanding your

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS in Computer Science or related field; graduating 2027–2028.
• Experience with AI to learn, debug, and ship; able to point to a project built with AI.
• Proactive problem-solver who asks for help after attempting independently.
• Proficient in JavaScript, TypeScript, Ruby, or Kotlin with real project experience.
• Able to quickly pick up new frameworks/tools; some exposure to React, Postgres, SQL, or gRPC.
• Strong communicator, able to explain tradeoffs to engineers and non-engineers.

Responsabilités

• Build and test features for web and mobile products with senior engineers.
• Architect automation in projects to remove repetitive work.
• Write clean, efficient code and own debugging and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with data analysts to use usage insights for AI applications.
• Ship features quickly with AI-assisted development and fast feedback loops.
• Expand technical range by learning new languages, frameworks, and AI practices.
