Job summary

Southern California Edison (SCE) invites you to join a 12-week summer internship to gain hands-on experience in the utility/energy sector. You will be paired with a mentor, work on real-world challenges, and build your professional network through intern events and cross-functional collaboration.

You will develop essential skills while contributing to projects that support cleaner energy and responsible data practices.

Qualifications

• This internship requires pursuing a Bachelor’s or higher in Electrical Engineering with a 2.8 GPA or higher.
• Hybrid work mode and CA residency are required unless noted otherwise.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and mentors on real-world projects.

Responsibilities

• Work on real-world challenges within the utility/energy sector.
• Collaborate with mentors and cross-functional teams to apply knowledge and grow.
• Present project outcomes at the annual Intern Expo.
• Demonstrate effective and open communication throughout the internship.
• Protect corporate data and cybersecurity assets according to company standards.
