Job summary

KBX Logistics, a Koch company and global leader in transportation, is seeking a Summer 2027 Business Analytics & Insights Intern to help transform data into actionable insights that support decision-making across our transportation and logistics operations.

You will design, build, and maintain dashboards, analyze trends, and contribute to analytics projects while gaining exposure to how data influences operational, financial, and strategic decisions across the organization.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a business degree program such as Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Economics, Statistics, Accounting, Finance, Agribusiness, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business and analytics teams to analyze operational data, identify trends, and develop insights that support transportation and logistics decisions.
• Design, build, and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using tools such as Power BI to improve visibility and decision-making.
• Support strategic projects by conducting data analysis, market research, forecasting, and scenario modeling to evaluate opportunities and business risks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, analytics, and business leaders, to solve problems and improve processes.
• Leverage emerging technologies, including AI and automation tools, to enhance reporting, uncover insights, and improve analytical capabilities.
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders while gaining exposure to how data influences operational, financial, and strategic decisions across the organization.
