MIT Lincoln Laboratory seeks a Summer Research Program Intern for 2027 in Cyber Operations and Analysis Technology Group. The role focuses on defending cyberspace by researching security technologies and prototyping systems.

Interns work with senior researchers, have autonomy, and contribute to national security challenges. Applicants should be pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in CS, Cyber Security, Data Science, AI, or related fields.

Qualifications

• Working toward a BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Security, Mathematics, Data Science, AI, or a related field.
• Experience with independent and collaborative work within a technical team.
• Interest in cyber security or cyber operations.
• Proficiency with Python, Java, or similar languages.

Responsabilités

• Help create advanced technologies for ensuring security and resiliency of next-generation mission-critical cyber systems.
• Perform analysis, develop technology, and/or build software as part of a research team.
• Collaborate with a principal investigator and other researchers, maintaining autonomy and contributing to team efforts.
