Job summary

North Allegheny School District, located just north of Pittsburgh, seeks a seasonal summer custodian to help maintain clean buildings and grounds for the educational program. Starting rate is $13.00 per hour with a maximum of 40 hours per week. Workweek runs from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Position is available from May 2026 through August 2026. Must be 16 or older and able to obtain necessary clearances; physical and TB test may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age and able to work with basic cleaning equipment.
• Clearances are required: Child Abuse History Clearance, PA Criminal Record Check, FBI Fingerprint Clearance, Mandated Reporter of Child Abuse Training.
• Pre-employment Physical and TB Test will be completed if selected.

Responsibilities

• Assist with cleanliness of buildings and grounds according to the established schedule.
• Provide a safe, clean facility for the educational program and meet district standards.
• Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, from May 2026 to August 2026.
