Responsibilities

• Conduct regular field inspections to assess crop condition, growth stage, pests, diseases, and weeds.
• Identify signs of pests, diseases, weeds, or other issues and report to the agronomy manager.
• Communicate findings and observations to the agronomy manager and assist in crop management decisions.
• Document observations using crop scouting software and weekly reports.
• Assist in collecting crop samples for laboratory analysis when needed.
• Support drone crop scouting and application projects as part of precision farming.
• Participate in data collection for R&D test plots and on-farm research evaluation.
• Provide general operations support, including field tasks and summer farm projects.
