Job summary

ARCO National Construction Company is seeking a motivated Project Manager Intern for a summer role in Las Vegas. You will assist Project Managers with estimating, scheduling, buyout, permitting, and site visits to help keep projects on track.

You will gain hands-on experience through design meetings, submittal reviews, and daily project support, with a pathway to full-time opportunities after graduation.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Civil/Mechanical/Architectural or Construction Management Bachelor’s degree program
• Minimum GPA 3.0/4.0
• Previous internship or co-op construction experience preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a strong work ethic

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with estimating project proposals and assigning dollar values
• Create working timelines for subcontractors/trades to complete projects on time
• Attend design meetings with owner and team to understand proposals from engineers and architects
• Send bid instructions, schedule, and drawings to subcontractors and evaluate proposals
• Fill out permit forms and coordinate with city/county/fire departments for approvals
• Review shop drawings and submittals with PM and coordinate material orders
• Assist with subcontracting, change orders, pay requests and applications
• Visit job sites with PM to ensure projects run smoothly
