Job summary

Trautman & Shreve, Inc invites applications for a Summer 2027 Construction Project Engineer – INTERN to support the project team in executing, scheduling, and billing. You will help with organization, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation under guidance from the Project Manager.

The role requires strong English communication, basic MS Office skills, and familiarity with AutoCAD; senior students pursuing a BS in Construction Management or Mechanical Engineering are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Pursuing a BS in Construction Management or Mechanical Engineering.
• Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with AutoCAD and PM software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Manager in driving project flow from inception to completion.
• Review contract and bid documents; understand scope for turnover; attend walk-throughs.
• Assist with project document control: insurance, bonding, permits, submittals, RFIs, change orders, correspondence.
