Job summary

Monteith Construction Corp. invites you to join our 2027 Summer Intern Program in the Triad area. This paid 12-week internship offers exposure to diverse commercial projects and mentorship from industry leaders.

You will support project engineers and managers, review drawings, attend site walks, and help with scheduling, coordination, and documentation using Procore. Develop hands-on skills in a collaborative, safety‑minded environment.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in accredited college/university pursuing a related construction degree.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Engineers and Project Managers with RFIs, submittals, drawings, and docs.
• Work with Superintendents to understand site operations and coordination.
• Attend jobsite walks, meetings, safety sessions, and planning.
• Help track schedules and upcoming activities.
• Review drawings to understand scope and details.
• Document site progress with photos and field reports.
• Assist with quality control, punch lists, and safety.
• Promote safe, organized jobsite and teamwork with trade partners.
• Learn construction tech and Procore usage.
