Job summary

The Finance Intern will join Zurn Elkay Water Solutions Corporation’s Commercial Finance team in Milwaukee, WI, supporting month-end close processes and performance analyses. You will help build scalable tools and assist with forecasts, enabling insights that drive business decisions.

Qualifications

Pursuing a 4-year degree in Finance, Accounting, or other related field.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and particularly strong Excel skills involving pivot tables and macros.
Able to work 40 hours per week during the summer.

Responsibilities

Assist with compiling, tracking, and analyzing information to evaluate achievement of key operational and strategic objectives.
Aid the development of new tools that drive scalable analysis and insight.
Collaborate with Commercial team members on building monthly forecasts.
Assist with the month-end close and reporting processes.
Analyze monthly/quarterly results, research variances to explain underlying causes, and identify trends.
Perform ad-hoc requests and assist in analysis of special projects.
Support the Commercial team's continuous improvement initiatives.
