Job summary

WSP USA in Tacoma, WA invites enrolled civil engineering students to join its Summer Internship Program as a Civil Engineering Intern with the Transportation & Infrastructure team for a 12‑week period starting May 17, 2027. This is a full‑time internship with mentorship and real project exposure.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in an accredited Civil Engineering program with graduation May 2028 or later.
• Authorized to work in the United States at internship start.
• Interest in Civil Transportation Engineering and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering tasks to develop technical, social, and ethical skills.
• Assist with project research, field work, and preliminary design calculations.
• Support preparation of final design plans, provisions, and cost estimates.
• Assist in collecting and maintaining project documentation.
• Complete training on assigned tasks and adhere to company policies.
