Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED and be working towards a bachelor’s degree.
• Field of Study: Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 0–2 years construction estimating support, engineering, field support, or similar experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), trig calculations, and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Interpret designs and drawings for takeoff and bidding on construction projects.
• Prepare/distribute documentation such as status reports, punch lists, sketches, material calculations.
• Provide technical support on materials, delivery dates, and schedules.
• Assist with change orders/estimates by preparing drawings to support bids.
• Develop quantity takeoffs and material pricing for estimates and bids.
• Maintain records of quantities and materials for cost control.
