Job summary

The Nebraska Department of Transportation (NDOT) invites you to apply for the Summer Engineering Intern position in District 8, serving Ainsworth and Valentine. Qualifications

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Currently pursuing an engineering degree with good academic standing.
• Valid driver’s license is required and reliable attendance is essential.

Responsibilities

• Inspect routine construction phases under mentor guidance.
• Maintain construction records using Windows, web-based tools, CADD, MS Office, and mobile apps.
• Join a survey crew and perform material tests; other duties as assigned.
