Job summary

Indorama Ventures invites highly motivated, full-time undergrads to join the Summer 2025 Chemical Engineer Intern program. Run May through August, the internship provides hands-on engineering exposure in Production or Process Engineering under supervision.

Interns will support engineers on projects, provide status updates, follow safety and GMP requirements, and participate in company training and EH&S initiatives. A 10-week commitment is required.

Qualifications

• Must be a full-time college student pursuing a BS in Chemical Engineering.
• GPA 3.0 or higher.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Able to obtain TWIC card.
• Proficient with Internet, Email and Microsoft Office.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills.
• Able to analyze information and draw valid conclusions.
• Able to work with diverse teams and maintain safety awareness.
• Willing to commit to the full 10-week summer program.

Responsibilities

• Support engineers in project and day-to-day engineering work.
• Provide status updates to mentors on assignments.
• Ensure compliance with safety, GMP, health, and environmental requirements.
• Attend to overtime as needed to meet production objectives.
• Collaborate with team members across backgrounds.
• Assist others in achieving company goals.
• Follow supervisor instructions and perform other duties.
• Participate in EH&S initiatives and required trainings.
