Southern Arkansas University is seeking a Weekly Summer Camp Nurse for our Special Needs Summer Camp in New Hampshire. This position requires RNs, LPNs, or NPs who will lead the summer camp health team and ensure the health needs of children with emotional, learning, and behavioral challenges are met.
Your responsibilities will include overseeing camp health operations, maintaining health records, and supervising health assistants. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong integrity, adaptability, and a willingness to embrace diversity.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or Nurse Practitioner (NP).
- Experience in health assessments and emergency response.
- Ability to supervise and mentor health assistants.
Responsabilités
- Oversee daily operation of the health center.
- Monitor health of all campers and staff.
- Maintain complete and up-to-date health records.
- Respond to medical emergencies.
- Ensure medication is taken as per policies.
