Job summary

Kidcam is seeking a Camp Counselor in Auburn, AL for a seasonal position. You will supervise and engage campers aged 5-13, act as a role model, and help run a variety of activities from sports to arts and science while keeping safety and inclusion at the forefront.

Pre-camp training covers Kidcam policies and safety procedures. During camp, you lead activities, support transitions, and ensure a fun, positive environment for every child.

Qualifications

• Energy, enthusiasm, and patience required.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather.
• Counselors supervise and engage campers ages 5-13, ensuring safety and inclusivity.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage assigned camper group; ensure safety and foster a positive environment.
• Lead games, activities, and transitions; participate in daily camp life including sports, arts, science, and events.
• Assist with end-of-day wrap-ups and review camper progress.
