Job summary

Steve & Kate's Camp in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking energetic staff for summer sessions, with opportunities to guide campers aged 4–12 through creative activities and self-directed play.

As a staff member you’ll develop leadership skills, collaborate with a diverse team, and participate in a busy program blending crafts, performing arts, maker space, and outdoor activities. Pay ranges from $18.25 to $20.75 per hour and First Aid/CPR certification is required.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Minimum of 2 months experience working with camp–age children, with 1 year preferred.
• First Aid & CPR certified prior to Day 1 of Camp (some locations may require additional certifications)

Responsibilities

• Facilitate activities, making connections, and monitoring safety and wellness.
• Create and/or oversee activity spaces in which campers self-select activities; rotate support roles.
• Staff will supervise campers and maintain organized activity spaces; collaborate with the local director.
• Activities include sewing, stop-motion animation, maker space, performing arts, arts and crafts, lounging, recreation, etc.
