A summer youth camp organization is seeking an Assistant Site Director, serving as the EMT/Nurse Intern for youth camps across Long Island and Connecticut. The ideal candidate has experience working with children, coaching skills, and is CPR/AED certified. Responsibilities include ensuring a safe environment, administering first aid, and maintaining health records. The position offers $23.00 per hour and requires a 9-week commitment during summer. Reliable transportation is necessary for travel to various camp locations.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children and coaching sports.
• CPR/AED and First-Aid certified.
• Leadership skills and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe camp environment for all staff and campers.
• Administer first-aid and manage inventory of supplies.
• Communicate with parents about injuries and incidents.
• Conduct health checks and provide medical care.
