Guest Services Inc. seeks a capable supervisor for the Key Bridge Boathouse Summer Camp, a day camp running eight weeks from June through August. The role is full-time, 8 am–5 pm, with prior teaching or day-camp leadership experience ideal.

Responsibilities include staffing, training, supervising staff, developing boating lesson plans, guiding campers and counselors by example, and ensuring health and safety. Strong communication with parents is required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of business and management principles and practices.
  • Proficient in relevant software applications.
  • Customer service skills.
  • 2 weeks of full time administrative experience in an organized camp or related program.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • 8 weeks of full time experience working with 6-15 year olds.
  • USSailing, ACA Certifications preferred.
  • Basic proficiency in speaking Spanish preferred.
  • WSI Instructor or Lifeguard trainer preferred.
  • CPR/First Aid Trainer preferred.

  • Other duties as required by your Manager and Assistant Manager.

Compensation Amount: 21.00 USD Hourly

Job Summary

Key Bridge Boathouse Summer Camp is a day camp that runs for 8 weeks from June through August. The ideal candidate is able to work full-time in the summer between the hours of 8 am to 5 pm and has prior experience teaching or running a day camp.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Intermediate knowledge of boating such as kayaking, canoeing, etc.
  • 2 weeks of full time administrative experience in an organized camp or related program
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • 8 weeks of full time experience working with 6-15 year olds

  • Basic proficiency in speaking Spanish preferred.
  • WSI Instructor or Lifeguard trainer preferred

REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS
  • Drivers License
  • Red Cross CPR, First Aid, Lifeguard or Equivalent
