Job summary

Life Time is seeking a Kids Camp Counselor to lead children aged 3 to 12 through a variety of activities, including arts & crafts, sports, and field trips. The role emphasizes safety, nutrition education, and creating a fun, engaging environment.

The counselor will manage up to 10 campers, model positive behavior, maintain camp quality, and assist with promoting events and activities to boost participation and revenue. Certifications in First Aid and CPR/AED are required within 60 days of hire.

Qualifications

• 1 year of camp experience.
• Completion of Life Time Summer Camp Counselor Certification prior to Camp Season.
• First Aid within the first 60 days of hire.
• Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED within the first 60 days of hire.
• Ability to tolerate loud noises.
• Ability to frequently stand; walk; use hands, objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb ladders.

Responsibilities

• Engages children in interactive activities with safety in mind.
• Leads a group of up to 10 campers aged 3-12 with a positive attitude.
• Demonstrates courtesy, service, cooperation, hospitality, sensitivity, and professionalism to customers.
• Maintains cleanliness and order of the camp to ensure safety.
• Promotes monthly events and activities to increase participation and revenue.
• Ensures supplies, snacks and drinks follow the department budget.
