Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking a Kids Camp Counselor to guide children ages 3–12 through activities such as rock climbing, swimming, arts & crafts, and field trips. The role emphasizes safety, fun, and nutrition education within themed weekly camps.

You will lead up to 10 campers with a positive, outgoing approach, uphold high safety standards, and support monthly event promotions and budget-conscious supply use.

Qualifications

• 1 year of camp experience required.
• Completion of Life Time Summer Camp Counselor Certification prior to Camp Season.
• First Aid within the first 60 days of hire; Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED within the first 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Engages children in interactive activities including organized arts and crafts, singing, sports activities, games and field trips while maintaining a safe environment.
• Leads a group of up to 10 campers ages 3-12 with a fun, positive and outgoing attitude while acting as a role model.
• Demonstrates courtesy, service, cooperation, hospitality, sensitivity, and professionalism to internal and external customers.
• Maintains cleanliness and order of camp to ensure safety.
• Promotes monthly events and activities to increase participation and revenue.
• Ensures use of supplies, snacks and drinks follow the department budget.
