New York Edge is seeking passionate and enthusiastic people to fill the seasonal/temporary part-time Summer Day Group Leader position. In this role, you will be critical to the successful operation of New York Edge's summer camp program. You will be responsible for providing a safe and positive environment for school-age children to provide opportunities for learning, interaction, and academic/personal growth. Summer Day Group Leaders also participate in activities and trips while providing and maintaining a safe working environment. They help with homework and prepare students to demonstrate newly acquired skills in Sports and Arts.
Part-Time Seasonal/Temporary (July 2 – August 16)
Weekly Scheduled Hours of 16-29 (depends on operational needs of camp location)
No Summer Camp on July 4
During the last week of August 12–16, the summer camp will operate from 8 am-6 pm
We have Summer Day Camp locations across the five boroughs!

$17/hour
Summer Day Group Leaders will be required to report to the school building and interact with staff, students, parents, and school administration. At the time of offer and acceptance, the job requires safety and security clearances through the Department of Education and Department of Health.
