Summer Camp Counselor (For students Ages 6–11)

Location: Little Friends-Mercerville, NJ 08619
Dates: June 23 – August 29, 2025
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour break)
Compensation: Dependent on experience

Are you passionate about working with kids and ready for an exciting summer experience? We're seeking enthusiastic and reliable Summer Camp Counselors to lead engaging activities, ensure safety, and create lasting memories for children ages 6–11!

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and engage campers in both indoor and outdoor activities.
• Lead games, crafts, sports, and fun-filled field trips.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children.
• Maintain a positive and energetic environment.
• Collaborate with staff in a preschool setting equipped with a playground and basketball court.
• Adapt activities to meet a variety of interests and energy levels.
  
  

Requirements:

• Experience working with children (preferably in a school, camp, or similar setting)
• Must pass a background check
• Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in an active environment
• Available for the full camp schedule (no weekends needed)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• CPR and First Aid Certification
• Energetic, creative, and dependable
• Ability to think on your feet and adapt to daily challenges
• Teachers on summer break or college students encouraged to apply
