Join to apply for the Summer Camp Counselor role at Overtime Athletics DMV

We are seeking enthusiastic and energetic individuals to join our team as Summer Camp Counselors at Overtime Athletics DMV. OTA Counselors lead children through a variety of activities including group gym games, arts & crafts, outdoor water play, themed activities, and more. This is a full-time position during the summer, working with children ages 6-13 years old.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and engage campers in various sports, arts & crafts, STEM, and other group recreational activities
  • Instruct campers on the rules and instructions for each activity
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers
  • Provide positive reinforcement and encouragement to campers
  • Communicate effectively with campers, parents, and staff members
Requirements:
  • Prior experience working with children in a camp or recreational setting
  • Ability to lead and organize group activities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for sports and fitness
  • Background check required; CPR/First Aid certification highly recommended
