Job Overview

We are seeking a creative, skilled, and enthusiastic Cook to lead our kitchen team for a summer camp. The Cook will prepare nutritious meals, ensure food safety standards, and create a positive dining environment for campers and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Meal Preparation: Plan, prepare, and serve meals suitable for children and staff, adhering to dietary restrictions and nutritional guidelines.
  2. Food Safety: Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the kitchen, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
  3. Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, order supplies, and manage food storage efficiently.
  4. Team Collaboration: Work with camp staff to coordinate meal schedules and special dietary needs.
  5. Supervision and Training: Supervise kitchen helpers and ensure proper food handling procedures are followed.
Qualifications
  1. Experience in cooking, preferably in a camp, school, or institutional setting.

Schedule & Commitment

This is a full-time, seasonal position from June 12th - August 10th, 2025, including a competitive salary, room and board, and a travel stipend.
