Job Overview

This is an opportunity to teach children at a Summer Camp in New Hampshire with room and board fully provided.

Responsibilities
  1. Program Planning: Design and organize woodworking projects suitable for different age groups and skill levels.
  2. Instruction: Teach woodworking techniques, ensuring safety and understanding of tools.
  3. Safety Management: Maintain a safe workspace, enforce safety protocols, and supervise campers.
  4. Equipment Maintenance: Inspect and repair tools and equipment as needed.
  5. Camper Engagement: Foster a positive environment encouraging creativity and teamwork.
  6. Staff Collaboration: Coordinate with camp staff to integrate woodworking into the camp program.
  7. Inventory Management: Track materials and supplies, request replenishments.
Qualifications
  • Experience in woodworking or carpentry, with ability to teach children.
  • Previous experience working with children or in a camp setting preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage children in a dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of woodshop safety standards.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, and work in a woodshop environment for extended periods.
  • Comfort with lifting and handling materials and equipment.
Schedule & Commitment

This is a full-time, seasonal position from June 12th - August 10th, 2025, with a competitive salary, room and board, and a travel stipend.

Compensation

Salary based on experience, plus meals, lodging, and access to camp activities.
