Job Overview

We are seeking a creative, skilled, and enthusiastic Woodshop Director to lead our woodshop program for campers aged 7-15. The Woodshop Director will develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate woodworking projects, foster creativity, and ensure a safe and fun environment for campers. Key Responsibilities

• Program Planning: Design and organize woodworking projects suitable for different age groups and skill levels.
• Instruction: Teach woodworking techniques, ensuring proper use of tools and safety protocols.
• Safety Management: Maintain a safe workspace, enforce safety rules, and supervise campers.
• Equipment Maintenance: Inspect and maintain tools and equipment.
• Camper Engagement: Create a positive, inclusive environment fostering creativity and teamwork.
• Staff Collaboration: Coordinate with camp staff to integrate woodshop activities.
• Inventory Management: Track materials and supplies, request replenishments as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in woodworking or carpentry, with the ability to teach children.

Physical Requirements

Schedule & Commitment

This full-time, seasonal position runs from June 12th to August 10th, 2025. It includes a competitive salary, room and board, and a travel stipend.
