Job Overview

We are seeking a creative, skilled, and enthusiastic Cook to join our team for the summer. The Cook will be responsible for preparing meals, maintaining kitchen safety, and ensuring a positive dining experience for campers and staff. Key Responsibilities

1. Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious and appealing meals for campers and staff, following camp menus and dietary restrictions.
2. Kitchen Safety & Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhere to health and safety regulations.
3. Inventory Management: Monitor food supplies, place orders, and manage storage efficiently.
4. Collaboration: Work with camp staff to coordinate meal schedules and special dietary needs.
5. Supervision & Assistance: Assist in supervising campers during meal times, fostering a positive dining environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in cooking, preferably in a camp or large group setting.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to handle kitchen equipment and manage food inventory.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Comfort with lifting and handling food supplies and kitchen equipment.

Schedule & Commitment

This is a full-time, seasonal position from June 12th to August 10th, 2025, including room and board, a competitive salary, and a travel stipend.
