Job summary

PEAK is inviting applicants for the Production Laboratory Internship in Shawano, Wis. Interns will explore all facets of PEAK Production, focusing on research opportunities within the Production laboratories and the bovine semen production process.

The 12-week program runs May–August 2027, with housing or a housing stipend provided. Interns will participate in PEAK/URUS events and have opportunities to shadow staff from URUS-sister companies.

Qualifications

• Pursuing education in agriculture, biology, genetics or data science.
• Currently attends a 2-year technical college or 4-year university.
• Passionate about agriculture and innovation.
• Willingness to learn and try new things.

Responsibilities

• Delve into the bovine semen production process and learn laboratory workflows.
• Perform laboratory processes to create semen products for beef and dairy operations.
• Experience working with bulls in PEAK Production facilities where possible.
• Work on individual projects aligned with interests and skills throughout the summer.
