Conferences and Institutes is seeking Youth Program Assistants for the Summer Art at SoVA Youth Camp, scheduled for June 16 - 30, 2025.
Responsibilities include supervising and ensuring the safety of minors participating in the program, including adherence to youth compliance policies, emergency response, communication with the Program Director and Program Manager, medication management, and oversight of health information. Assistants may also help develop instructional content and deliver lessons and activities.
Shared responsibilities involve monitoring participant safety, whereabouts, and behavior during program hours, including non-instructional times. Assistants must be able to respond promptly and calmly to issues concerning participant interactions and behavior, handle sensitive issues, and follow notification protocols.
This position requires the following clearances in addition to background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check.
