Job summary

Citizens Bank is seeking a Summer Analyst to join the Sales & Trading and Equity Research teams in New York, NY, for a 10-week internship starting June 2027. The role offers rotation between S&T and Equity Research with exposure to trading desks and research workflows.

Interns will collaborate with junior and senior staff, gain industry insights, and may receive a full-time offer following the summer program based on performance.

Qualifications

• Video interview assessment within 4 days of receiving the link.
• Undergrad graduating Winter 2027 – Spring 2028 OR graduate program graduating Winter 2027 – Spring 2028
• Minimum GPA of 3.2; 3.5 preferred; include GPA on resume.
• Relevant work experience, leadership experience or coursework in Finance, Accounting or Economics preferred but all majors will be considered.
• Strong analytical skills and MS Office proficiency; Bloomberg experience a plus.
• Permanent US work authorization required; CPT/OPT or visa sponsorship not available now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Equity Sales & Trading: Develop basic understanding of equity sales and trading; support trading-related reports and presentations; participate in trading activities; financial analysis; client and stakeholder interaction; observe/attend daily morning call.
• Equity Research: Develop basic understanding of equity research; monitor daily news; assist with monthly reporting; maintain files and contacts; financial analysis; client and stakeholder interaction; observe/attend daily morning call.
