Airbus Americas, Inc. in Mobile, Alabama, invites rising engineers to join as Summer Intern - Airworthiness & Certification Engineering.

You will work within the Airworthiness and Certification department under DOA, supporting certification activities for aircraft upgrades and service bulletins while learning from senior engineers. The program emphasizes hands-on project work, shadowing, data visualization, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a 4-year engineering degree (ME, AE, CE, Systems, EE, CS).
• Sophomore level or pursuing a Master’s is acceptable.
• Authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship.
• Experience leading projects as a student or intern or research assistant.
• Basic programming skills (Python, Apps Script).
• Familiar with CAD tools (AutoCAD, CATIA).
• Proficient with Google or Microsoft Office suites.
• Strong verbal and written English communication.

Responsibilities

• Participate in daily operations and shadow senior engineers.
• Gain exposure to initial delivery declarations and DOA procedures.
• Design and build dashboards for performance tracking.
• Assist in presentation material and project management.
• Organize engineering data and review route documents.
• Generate weekly status reports and summaries.
• Collaborate with internal and external project stakeholders.
