Qualifications

  • First aid/CPR certification is required; WFR is a plus.

Job description

Seasonal Adaptive Instructor, Summer 2025– The Telluride Adaptive Sports Program (TASP) is actively hiring full-time, seasonal Summer Program Instructors to join our fun, hard working team that focuses on the magic of adaptive recreation out on the trails, lakes, and mountains. With activities including but not limited to mountain biking, flatwater paddling, rock climbing, hiking, and camping, Summer Program Instructors will be responsible for facilitating and leading day trips and multi-day overnight programs around Telluride, the Western Slope, 4-Corners, and Moab areas.

Preferred qualifications include: first aid/CPR certification at a minimum (WFR is a plus), experience with our 3 main activities (biking, paddling, rock climbing), and a passion for working with people with disabilities.

Our summer season typically runs from early May to early October. Pay ranges from $21-$25/hr depending on experience.
