Job summary

Cherry Bekaert is offering an Audit Intern position in the United States. Interns will gain insight into the public accounting profession and build a solid foundation for a career in assurance and advisory services.

You'll work for multiple supervisors on client engagements, apply accounting knowledge using Firm technology, shadow professionals, and participate in training, marketing or research projects, including social functions. Travel to client sites is required.

Qualifications

• Junior or senior enrolled in an accredited accounting or related program.
• Typically within two years of graduation.
• GPA 3.0/4.0 or higher preferred but not required.
• Ability to travel to client sites as needed.

As an Audit Intern

Responsibilities

• Work for multiple supervisors on a variety of client engagements
• Apply accounting knowledge while performing client work using Firm technology
• Shadow Audit professionals of all levels
• Participate in team building and training initiatives
• Participate in and present on a marketing or research project
• Attend social functions: happy hours, lunches, community service projects and other outings

What you bring to the role

• Juniors or seniors enrolled in an accredited accounting or related program
• two years from graduation
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or above preferred, but not required
• Proficiency with computers and spreadsheet software programs
• Ability to travel to client sites as needed, including frequent same-day travel

Pay Range: $30.00 - 40.00
