Cherry Bekaert LLP in Houston, TX is seeking an Audit Intern to gain insight into the public accounting profession and build a solid foundation for your career while working with multiple supervisors on a variety of client engagements. You are a junior or senior enrolled in an accredited accounting or related program, with travel to client sites as needed and a minimum 3.0 GPA preferred.

As an Audit Intern, you will:

• Gain insight into the public accounting profession and build a solid foundation for your career
• Work for multiple supervisors on a variety of client engagements

• Shadow Audit professionals of all levels
• Participate in team building and training initiatives
• Participate in and present on a marketing or research project

What you bring to the role:

• Juniors or seniors enrolled in an accredited accounting or related program, two years from graduation
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or above preferred, but not required
• Proficiency with computers and spreadsheet software programs
• Ability to travel to client sites as needed, including frequent same-day travel
