Job summary

Baker Tilly is seeking a Risk Advisory Business Risk Services Intern to gain hands-on experience across risk governance, internal audit, compliance, IT, and cybersecurity. You will participate in orientation and technical training, work on real client engagements, and learn from seasoned professionals in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Enrolled as a student during the current school year in Accounting, Finance, Business, Technology, Public Health, or related degree
• Able to work full time for the duration of the internship
• Available to travel as needed for client projects
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future
• Minimum 18 years of age and at least one academic term remaining after internship
• Strong academic performance (GPA 3.0 or above)
• Experience with time management, communication, interpersonal skills, and collaboration
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and related tools

Qualifications

Successful candidates will have:

• Enrolled as a student during the current school year in Accounting, Finance, Business, Technology, Public Health, or related degree
• Able to work full time for the duration of the internship
• Available to travel as needed for client projects
• A resume and unofficial transcript(s) are required as part of the application process.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer-sponsored visa sponsorship, now or in the future.
• Candidates must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have at least one academic term remaining following completion of the internship.
• Outstanding academic performance required, with a preferred GPA of 3.0 or above
• Relevant internship, work experience and/or involvement with a professional organization desired
• The ability to work effectively in a team environment with all levels of client personnel
• Demonstrated skills in the areas of time management, communication, interpersonal skills, relationship building, collaboration, and problem solving
• Organizational and analytical skills, initiative, adaptabilityProficiency with Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
