Job summary

S&B USA Construction seeks Summer 2027 Scheduling/Project Planning Interns to learn CPM scheduling, develop baselines, and support bid pursuits and active contracts. You will visit job sites, observe crews and equipment, and assist with schedule updates under project managers and engineers.

The role emphasizes heavy civil construction terminology, safety culture, and collaboration with Fay Estimating and Operations. Prior study in civil/construction is expected.

Qualifications

• Completion of one year in a Civil Engineering, General Engineering or Construction Management degree program.
• Excellent Computer and Communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn CPM scheduling and Longest Path concepts.
• Develop a basic schedule with a WBS for a 3-span bridge.
• Assign logic ties and relationships to estimate duration.
• Develop CPM schedules for bids and active contracts.
• Create calendars in P6 identifying workdays and nonwork days.
• Allocate resources (labor, materials, equipment) for activities.
