Job summary

Roblox seeks a Product Design Intern in San Mateo, CA to tackle demanding design challenges alongside experienced designers, engineers, and product managers. You’ll help craft user-friendly experiences for a global audience and contribute to an evolving design system.

As a Design student, you’ll prototype, conduct user research, and perform competitive analysis to inform design decisions, while learning from feedback to grow your craft and storytelling abilities.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Design (UX/UI, Interaction, Motion, Graphics, Typography, Web, or Product).
• Passionate about designing features, creating prototypes, conducting competitive analysis, user research, and solving business problems through design.
• Curious about people’s behaviors, needs, and motivations as essential to the design process.

• Pursuing an undergraduate/graduate degree in Design (i.e., UX/UI, Interaction, Motion, Graphics, Typography, Web, or Product) or a related field.

For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual hourly rate could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Please note that not all benefits shown on this page are applicable to internship opportunities.

Hourly Pay Range$58—$58 USD

Roles that are based in an office are onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional presence on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
